Extra life

Knowing how the brain works is one of the frontiers of medicine. Extra life follows a group of scientists and patients on a journey to life or death to try and heal tumors that, up to now were considered inoperable, thanks to a mysterious human capacity : brain plasticity.

This documentary will take us to different parts of the world, with amazing characters, such as Nico, a young man who lives with only half brain, or Stephen, who goes to the poorest places of the world to heal the phantom limb syndrome.
