El intermedio

For 18 seasons, “El Intermedio” has reported daily political news with a dash of humor. Through different segments, two hosts combine information and an analysis of current affairs with playful, critical and irreverent humor, setting it apart from any other news program. Or, as the show’s slogan at the start of each episode goes: “You've heard the news, now we’ll tell you the truth.”

With over 1 million viewers per episodes and dozens of awards under its belt (including the Ondas and Iris awards for best entertainment program), “El Intermedio” is a necessary format with a social focus that takes an interest in politics and its effects on citizens, while also giving them a voice.
