Synopsis

The testimony of an exiled Guinean takes us through the recent history ofEquatorial Guinea from Spanish colonization, through independence in 1969 andFrancisco Macías’s bloody dictatorship, without forgetting Teodoro Obiang’scurrent petrol regime. Our leading character intersperses his own personalexperiences with those of his people. From his exile, he explains how heinherited a river on the death of his father and he tells us about the legendsand customs of his country.
