The Pearl Button
Synopsis
This film tells Chile’s story with two buttons. The first, a small button taken from the seabed and fixed to the surface of a rusty rail. The only object bearing witness to the fate of one of the hundreds of missing pearls tied to a piece of iron and flung into the sea. The second, a pearl button gifted by Captain Fitzroy to Jimmy Button in 1830. Two buttons that explain the same story.
